Sorry I didn't get this out till today but I hope you like it.
  Okay guys, I'm like really excited about this weeks review! This is a show I absolutely love and have become incredibly addicted to. For those of you who don't know, this is a take on the story of King Arthur before he became King; And Merlin, a young warlock who must keep his powers a secret in hopes of saving Prince Arthur from troubles and making sure Arthur becomes the great king Camelot needs. I love watching Arthur grow as a person and also the friendship between him and Merlin grow. They start off not being very fond of each other but grow to become good friends and learn to rely on each other.
   Now Ive only seen the first two seasons, but fell in love within the first few episodes. It's a great show about loyalty, bravery, and standing up for what you believe to be right. Sometimes you have to make hard decisions that will affect the people around you and sometimes secrets must be kept, even from those you trust and care about. Merlin has the weight of the Kingdom on his shoulders and one wrong move and Camelot will fall.

May Bird and The Ever After by Jodi Lynn Anderson

     This book is geared towards the younger crowd, but honestly, I loved it! It's just a fun fantasy story about the supernatural. A girl on a journey through many realms in hopes of finding herself. She travels with her kitty companion, along with a few friends she meets along the way. May Bird becomes best friends with a timid ghost with a pumpkin shaped head, naturally of course, named Pumpkin. This book teaches that sometimes, being different can be just what you, and the world, needs most.

The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

    This is the first book out of five in the Heroes of Olympus series. If you're a fan of Percy Jackson and the Olympians then you will LOVE this new series that continues the story of Percy and other demigod friends. The writing is amazing and there are cliff-hangers at every turn. And more surprises than you can handle. If you haven't read this book, or the series for that matter, then you must! I mean it, right now! Get up and go buy it. It's just that good.

Divergent by Veronica Roth

   Loved this book! Praise to Veronica Roth for writing an action packed yet touching story. This book makes you want more after every chapter. Impossible to put down. Not only does it teach the importance of being brave, but also honest, selfless, peaceful and intelligent. I don't think any of us can be described with just one word. I believe we are all a little...Divergent.

Falling Skies Review

  At first glance Falling Skies may seem like another alien invasion show some geek made up at some comic book convention, but Falling Skies is anything but! This show portrays the importance of family and courage. One cannot give up even in the hardest of times. In this show friendship is valued and cherished. As the characters bond with one another, so do you with them. You begin to relate with eaches personal struggle on a deeper level. The actors of Falling Skies give life and emotion to the characters that were once just on paper. I believe each one of us can understand what its like to struggle with being brave and doing whats best, just like the characters of Falling Skies, even when skies are falling all around you.
